5. Personal data collected
Only the data needed to run the website and to handle contact that you choose to start is collected.
Contact form: name, email address and message, if you submit them. The server validates the fields and emails the message to info@bbf.gr. They are not stored in a website database.
Technical data: the hosting server may log IP address, browser type and request time, to operate and secure the website.
Accessibility preferences: if you use the accessibility panel, settings are stored locally in the browser (text size, contrast, underline, motion). They are not sent to the company.
Cookie consent: selected categories, consent version and a timestamp are stored. No name or email is stored for this purpose.
Google reCAPTCHA v3: when you submit the form, a verification token and browser signals are sent to Google to distinguish a person from automated submission.
Special-category data (such as health, political opinions, racial or ethnic origin) is not collected through the website. There is no profiling and no automated decision-making.
6. Purposes of processing
Data is processed only for the purpose of collection: operating and securing the website, recording cookie choices, optional map embed after consent, protecting the form from automated abuse, and handling contact requests sent through the form or the published details.
7. Legal bases
Processing is lawful where at least one Article 6 GDPR basis applies. For this website the bases are:
Article 6(1)(a): consent for optional cookies and for the Google Maps embed.
Article 6(1)(b): processing needed to respond to a pre-contract request once the communication is sent.
Article 6(1)(f): legitimate interest in operating and securing the website (technical logs, storing the cookie choice, Google reCAPTCHA on the form).
8. Consent
Where consent is required, it is given freely by a clear affirmative act (cookie choices / loading the map). You may withdraw it at any time from “Cookie Settings” in the footer, without affecting processing before withdrawal.
9. Data quality
Data is kept accurate and limited to what the purpose requires. If you give contact details, check them before sending. You may ask for rectification or erasure as set out in your rights.
10. Recipients
Data is not disclosed to third parties for commercial use. Disclosure happens only where needed to run the website or where the law requires it.
When the map embed loads after consent, or when you use the contact form (Google reCAPTCHA), Google receives your browser’s connection data. BBF Logistics does not control Google’s cookies or policies.
The logo and website photographs are served from this website.
Data may be disclosed to competent authorities only as required by applicable law.
11. International transfers
If you allow the Preferences category and the Google map loads, or if you submit the contact form (reCAPTCHA), connection data may be transferred to the United States or other locations where Google operates.
12. Security
Appropriate technical and organisational measures are applied to reduce the risk of unauthorised access, loss or alteration. The measures match the nature of processing on a public website.
13. Retention
Data is kept only for as long as the purpose of collection requires.
Form submissions: the message arrives in the info@bbf.gr mailbox and is kept as long as needed to reply and for ordinary business correspondence. It is not stored in a website database. Cookie consent record: up to 180 days or until you change the choice. Accessibility preferences: until you reset them or clear browser data. Server logs: for as long as needed for security and operation.
14. Cookies and tracking
Details of categories, retention and third parties are in the Cookie Policy. The contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA v3. Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel are not installed.
15. Your rights
You have the rights to be informed, to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, to data portability where applicable, and to withdraw consent. There is no automated decision-making and no profiling.
To exercise these rights: info@bbf.gr, +30 210 558 4430, +30 694 312 0792, or in writing to the registered address.
16. Personal-data breach
